Tyson Recalls 8.5 Million Pounds of Chicken Products After Possible Listeria Exposure

Tyson Foods Inc. has issued a recall of more than 8 million pounds of chicken products as a result of potential listeriosis contamination. Consuming food with Listeria monocytogenes can lead to listeriosis, a potentially serious infection that can cause symptoms like fever, confusion, headache, and muscle aches. According to the recall, frozen, fully cooked chicken products produced between December 26, 2020, and April 13, 2021 could potentially be affected.
