Amazon has announced that it will be discontinuing its Prime Now app and standalone Prime Now website by the end of 2021. Amazon launched Prime Now in 2014 as a way for Prime members in select cities to get household essentials and other items delivered in two hours or less. Today, it has grown to offering this service for Prime members in more than 5,000 cities and towns. Amazon Prime customers who previously enjoyed using the Prime Now service will still be able to get fast delivery of groceries and other goods directly through the Amazon app or website. Amazon Prime Day is right around the corner!
